Ultra achievement I am most proud of: completion of my first ultra in 1986, the Golden Horseshoe 50 miler from Hamilton to Queenston

Things I like most about ultras: un-uptight nature of people involved, small fields give a family ambience to events
Things I hate most about ultras: long sections of trail
What got me started doing ultras: didn't have any speed to do well in shorter distances
Ultrarunning heroes: all participants are heroes; not fair to single one or two out
