Ultra Achievement: Finishing Leadville – enough said! Typical training week: 65km running, 2 hours stretching, 2-4 hours strength training, 60 minutes cycling. In the winter I replace running with x-country skiing and snowshoeing. Injury history: More annoyances than injuries - plantar fascitus, shin splints, ITB problems. Favourite ultra foods: Boiled mini-potatoes smothered in butter, Ramen noodles, peanut butter/banana sandwiches Favourite ultra beverages: Flat Coke Things I like most about ultras: Meeting people who are just as, if not more, enthusiastic about ultrarunning and running in general. Doing training runs with friends in the Gatineau Hills. Things I hate most about ultras: Walking down stairs the day after a race. What got me started on ultras: I couldn't seem to get my marathon times any faster so I decided to go longer! Ultras I would like to do: Pick one - they all sound like fun!
