Things I like most about ultras:  The Challenge, the people and atmosphere
Things I hate most about ultras:
Trails slow me down and I love to run fast
What got me started doing ultras:  Ryne Melcher and his 24 Hour Aids Day Race and then meeting all the nice people in and around Ultra Racing, like George & Peggy Sarson, Ryne Melcher & Jenn Dick, Tony Martin, Ron Gehl, etc.
Ultra heroes:  I respect so many runners and would not want to single only a few out.
Ultra quote: Run like a gazelle in order to avoid being eaten by the lions
