Best Performances: Ask my wife! PBs: Still to come! Ultra achievement: Successfully completing my first attempt at the 100 mile distance - Mohican 2003. Ultras I would like to do but haven't yet: Damn Tuff Ruff Bluff, Western States, and MANY, MANY MORE!!! Typical training week: Not enough hill training to go along with too few speed workouts. Injury history: I ache all over all the time! Favourite ultra foods: This is really a "hit and miss" game, but at Vermont, turkey and cheese sandwiches were the BOMB! Favourite ultra beverages: Eload early, coke later on. Iced tea in between!! Things I like most about ultras: Watching the sun come up at a 100 mile event. Things I hate most about ultras: Seeing the sun come up for a SECOND time at a 100 miler!! What got me started doing ultras: The Repta brothers. They make it seem like everyone runs ultras. Ultra hero: See above. Also Geoff Sheppard who keeps me motivated and has an interesting perspective on running, and Monica Scholz...what can you say that hasn't already been said about her? A truly awesome person. Rolly Portelance too! We French guys must stick together! Favourite ultra quote: "This sucks!", Tony Robinson going down Big Hill at Mohican 100 mile. Other comments: "I really hate running, but I think I'll take up ultras." Noel "Neon" Agellon at JFK 2003 AND: "What do you mean you're not gonna race, it's a RACE!!"
