Typical training week: 100 km to 110 km per week when training for races. I like variety and different paces. Cross-train at YMCA (weights, bike, aerobics).
Injury history: Some stress fractures, otherwise I have been quite lucky avoiding injuries.
Favourite ultra foods: Bananas, energy gels.
Favourite ultra beverages: Water, Guinness beer.
Things I like most about ultras:  Meeting new friends and trying to keep up to them in races.
Things I hate most about ultras: I'm sure it's all positive - at least that's what I heard.
What got me started on ultras: Mid-life crisis.
Ultra I'd like to do: Western States 100 Mile /  Badwater Ultra (planned for 2008) / Across the Years
Ultra Heroes: All the runners I’ve met during the ultra series races and Ron Gehl.
Favourite ultra quote: Endurance is the act of training to develop yourself in more ways than physical. It means pushing forward through pain and rain. Am I tired ? That doesn't matter - at this point, willpower will be no problem.
