Recipient of the Norm Patenaude Award, 4 times PB Times: 10km: 35:15 25km: 1:46 Marathon: 2:53 50km: 3:45 6 Hour: 67km 100km: 9:36 100 Miles: 22:43 Best Performances: one 2nd place and Two 3rd place finishes in Ontario Ultra Series events. Ultra achievement I am most proud of: Running 10:08 for the 100km, at the World Championships in Chavagnes En-Paillers, France, in 1999. Ultra I haven't done but really want to: JFK 50 Miler (Hopefully in 2004) Typical training week: When I am in shape: Between 75km-125km. Injury history: Shoulder injury from work, in July 2002 (18 Months to recover). But now I am back for more Fun. Favourite ultra foods: Chicken Noodle Soup or Beef broth and a little Boost along the way. Favourite ultra beverages: coke, gatorade, lemonaid Things I like most about ultras: Friendly Group, with lots of REAL stories, ha, ha. Things I hate most about ultras: Suffering, when I am out of shape and can't fine enough excuses. What got me started doing ultras: The Straw Man, Mr. Ronald Gehl who insulted me to the point where I had to prove him wrong.
